Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care plans based on patient assessment to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition; coordinates care across disciplines, transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial support.
• Educates patient and family appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Appropriately delegates patient care to ancillary staff; may precept students or new hires.
• Demonstrates critical thinking, decisive judgement, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
