Job summary

Platinum Surgery Center is seeking a RN PreOp/PACU to provide comprehensive nursing care for patients undergoing ambulatory procedures. The role emphasizes safety, comfort, and privacy from preoperative to PACU recovery, with ongoing evaluation and coordination for discharge.

The ideal candidate will have an accredited RN education, an active state license, and current BLS/ACLS; PALS if required. Experience in PACU or critical care is preferred, with strong communication and workload management

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited RN program.
• Active RN license in the state where the center operates.
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS if required by the center.
• 2 years of PACU or Critical Care experience preferred.
• Ability to make clinical judgments and prioritize workloads.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous, high-quality nursing care for PreOp and PACU patients.
• Monitor patient status, ensuring safety, comfort, and privacy.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with conscious sedation and sterile technique.
• Care for patients emerging from anesthesia and coordinate discharge planning.
