Job summary

Platinum Surgery Center in Texas is seeking a RN PreOp/PACU to provide continuity and high-quality nursing care for all patients, with ongoing assessment of their condition, ensuring safety, comfort, and privacy at all times throughout the perioperative experience.

The RN may assist physicians in the procedure rooms with tasks including conscious sedation and sterile technique, delivering total care to patients emerging from anesthesia and/or sedation, and planning discharge in collaboration

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state (Texas).
• BLS and ACLS required, PALS if required by the center.
• 2 years of PACU or Critical Care experience preferred.
• Strong communication and ability to prioritize workloads.

Responsibilities

• Provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from anesthesia or sedation.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with tasks including conscious sedation and sterile technique.
