Scripps Encinitas Hospital is seeking a casual per diem RN for PACU/related areas in Encinitas, CA. Shifts are 12 hours with start times between 5:15 and 11:00, with weekday/night call about 3–4 times a month. Requires CA RN license, 1 year PACU/ICU experience, BLS and ACLS. This is a Casual status also known as Per diem position. The shifts are 12 hours with a variable start times. The shift start time could vary between 0515-1100. Call is expected week days and nights for PACU averaging about 3-4 times per month.
The minimum casual status requirement is 2 shifts per pay period plus call coverage.
Ideally training for this position is part- full time then once trained, the casual status begins. We will work with your schedule.

This position will be cross trained to work in pre. Post, procedural which means pre-oping surgical, Cath lan, IR, ENDO and Interventional Pulmonology patients. Also to recover these patients.
