Job summary

HonorHealth in Phoenix is seeking an experienced RN for the OR Preop/PACU to provide high-quality patient care from admission through recovery. The role requires PACU experience, active AZ RN licensure and BLS.

Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring vitals, and educating patients and families on post-treatment care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, cost-effective care delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in PACU; ED/ICU experience accepted; shifts may include call.
• RN license in Arizona required; BLS certification required.
• Diploma/ADN hires must complete a BSN within 60 months of hire; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care per ANA standards; assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Administer medications and manage IVs with careful dosage checks and safety.
• Educate patients and families on post-treatment care, home management, and diet/exercise guidance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, cost-effective care.
• Precept and mentor new staff to support competency and professional development.

Education

Diploma/ADN RN with BSN within 60 months

BSN degree preferred
