Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a Nurse Residency staff nurse for the Med Surg 6 Education Unit. This part-time night role supports onboarding three cohorts of new graduates annually on a 20-bed NRU, with dedicated preceptors and leadership to assist in transition to practice.

The NRU provides care from birth through the lifecycle, with emphasis on professional growth and adherence to standards of practice. BLS and GA RN license are required.

Qualificações

• Graduate of nursing program required.
• New graduates eligible.
• Current GA RN license or NLC/eNLC Multistate license required.
• BLS certification required.
• Hospital experience preferred for PRN positions.

Responsabilidades

• Provide nursing care to patients across the lifecycle using nursing processes.
• Maintain standards of practice and coordinate patient care activities on the unit.
• Collaborate with preceptors and leadership during orientation and transition to practice.
