Job summary

Trinity Health Ann Arbor invites experienced registered nurses to join the Main OR PreOp/PACU during the night shift. You will assess patients holistically, implement plans of care, and collaborate with anesthesiologists and the surgical team in a Level I trauma center.

Required BSN or commitment to obtain within five years, Michigan RN license, BLS, and strong critical thinking and communication. We offer comprehensive benefits from day one, tuition reimbursement, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Graduation from accredited nursing program.
• BSN degree within five years from date of hire or transfer to an RN role.
• Current Michigan Nursing License, BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• View patients holistically and consider physical, psychosocial, emotional, age-specific, cultural and spiritual factors.
• Demonstrate assessment skills for identified patient populations.
• Gather and analyze patient information and respond to patient situations with critical thinking.
• Develop, implement, evaluate and revise an individualized plan of care using evidence-based interventions.
• Identify patient education needs and develop teaching plans, using teach-back to ensure learning.
• Communicate patient status clearly to colleagues and other disciplines during rounds and handoffs.
