Job summary

Logan Health in Kalispell, Montana, invites experienced RNs to join the Pre-Anesthesia Clinic (LPAC). This on-site role focuses on clinical assessment, patient education, care coordination, and critical thinking to prepare patients for procedures.

You will partner with physicians and the care team to optimize safety and readiness. The position requires Montana RN licensure or a multi-state compact, CPR certification, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Active Montana RN license or multi-state compact with Montana authorization.
• Healthcare Provider CPR certification.
• ACLS and PALS certification may be required within six months of hire.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and clinical software; ability to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments using available information and patient needs.
• Develop and update individualized care plans during the patient visit.
• Identify safety concerns and ensure patients are prepared for their procedure.
• Review medication lists and provide education per physician or APP guidance.
• Educate patients on what to expect before procedures and coordinate with care team.
• Administer medications according to orders and standards; support continuity of care.
• Contribute to staff education and competency validation; uphold professional standards.
