Qualifications

• Current Montana Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in similar position within a medical setting preferred.
• RQI Provider (BLS) within seven (7) days of hire/before independent patient care, whichever comes first, required.
• Possess knowledge of equipment, supplies and instruments used in a medical office preferred.
• Promotes excellence through setting high standards and providing high quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assists provider with examinations and procedures as directed and in accordance with established nursing standards.
• Prepares and administers specified medications and injections within scope of practice as ordered by the provider.
• Accurately and efficiently transcribes and implements provider orders, treatments, and consistently problem solves issues effecting patient care.
• Maintains infection control procedures and adheres to policies/procedures.
• Cleans exam rooms, sterilizes instruments, and prepares supplies for procedures.
