Medical City Fort Worth is seeking a Registered Nurse – Pre-Admit for a full-time daytime role on weekdays. You will evaluate patients prior to surgery, educate families, prepare patients with IV therapy and preoperative medications, and participate in surgical site verification and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• RN license required (Texas or compact)
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
• Experience in critical care settings preferred

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients prior to surgery
• Provide patient and family education surrounding the procedure and peri-operative process
• Prepare patients including IV therapy and preoperative medications
• Participate in surgical site verification and universal protocols
• Respond to patient emergencies and deliver high-quality, evidence-based care
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize surgical workflow
