Job summary

Baylor Surgicare Cityview is hiring a Registered Nurse for Pre-Admission Testing. Monday through Friday shifts with no nights, weekends, or holidays, offering a supportive work-life balance and opportunities for professional growth.

The Pre Admissions Nurse coordinates nursing care, analyzes assessment data, and collaborates with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team to plan and deliver optimal care. Comfort with age-specific patient needs is essential.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
Active RN license in the state.
Current in BLS, ACLS and PALS required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a surgical or perioperative setting.
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

Coordinate nursing care and assess data to determine nursing diagnoses.
Identify expected outcomes and develop a care plan with patient/family and interdisciplinary team.
Implement interventions and evaluate progress toward outcomes.
Document the care process with attention to patient age-specific needs.
