Job summary

Paris Regional in Texas is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse in Pre-Admission Testing (PAT). You will perform pre-operative assessments, review medical histories, coordinate required testing, and ensure patients are prepared for surgery and procedural services.

You will work with physicians, anesthesia providers, and departments to support patient readiness and continuity of care. The role includes a sign-on bonus, shift differential, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active Texas RN license and associate degree from an accredited nursing school.
• BLS required within 30 days; ACLS and PALS within six months.

Responsibilities

• Performs plan of care interventions including medication administration and care activities.
• Documents patient care provided.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Coordinates patient care across disciplines and supports readiness for surgery.
