Piedmont Fayette Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse in the Emergency Department for part-time daytime hours (7:45 am - 6:15 pm). The role offers a $2,500 sign-on bonus for experienced candidates and a supportive, patient-centered work environment within a leading Georgia health system.

As an RN, you’ll work with state-of-the-art technology and diverse teams to deliver holistic care across the patient lifecycle, contributing to outcomes that matter in the community.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from a nursing program.
• Current Georgia RN license or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
• BLS Certification is required.
• Previous experience in surgical services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes.
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff to ensure quality care.
• Maintain standards of practice and participate in professional development.

Responsibilities

The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients. He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.

Requirements

• Must have graduated from a nursing program.
• Current License in the state of Georgia as a registered nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
• BLS Certification is required. Must obtain certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
• Previous experience in surgical services preferred.
