Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse for the Emergency Department on the evening shift (full-time, 11a-11p). A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available to experienced candidates. You will provide holistic, patient-centered care and work with a dedicated team using state-of-the-art technology.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from a nursing program.
• Previous experience in emergency services preferred.
• Current License in Georgia as a registered nurse (RN) or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
• BLS Certification is required. Must obtain certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
• ACLS Certification is required. Must obtain certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients.
• The staff nurse coordinates patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.

He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
