Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse for the Emergency Department on a part-time/day schedule, 7:45 am - 6:15 pm. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is available to experienced candidates, with the opportunity to contribute to exceptional patient outcomes in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from a nursing program.
• Current Georgia RN license or multi-state NLC/eNLC license.
• BLS Certification required through American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Previous experience in surgical services preferred.

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff to deliver quality nursing care.

Responsibilities

The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients. He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.

Requirements

• Must have graduated from a nursing program.
• Current License in the state of Georgia as a registered nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
• BLS Certification is required. Must obtain certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
• Previous experience in surgical services preferred.
