Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital in Georgia’s Emergency Department is seeking a Staff Nurse for a full-time mid-shift (9a-9p). A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available to experienced candidates, with a schedule that supports work-life balance and a diverse, collaborative team focused on exceptional patient outcomes.

As an RN, you will provide holistic, patient-centered care using state-of-the-art technology and participate in clinical initiatives while enjoying comprehensive total rewards and wellness

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from a nursing program.
• Previous experience in emergency services preferred.
• Current GA RN license (NLC/eNLC acceptable).
• BLS Certification required (AHA/Red Cross).
• ACLS Certification required (AHA/Red Cross).

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Coordinate patient care activities and maintain standards of practice.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients. He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.

Requirements

• Must have graduated from a nursing program.
• Previous experience in emergency services preferred.
• Current License in the state of Georgia as a registered nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
• BLS Certification is required. Must obtain certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
• ACLS Certification is required. Must obtain certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
