Adventist Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for the Pre Admission Testing Department in Rockville, MD. This full-time day-shift role is ideal for new graduates eager to grow clinically while delivering compassionate care.

Responsibilities include educating patients, mentoring staff, and developing care plans per patient population. Requires Maryland RN license, BLS, and 1 year of RN experience, with ACLS/PALS/NRP as needed by specialty.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience.
• Current Maryland State nursing license.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification; ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by specialty area.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families through the continuum of care.
• Serve as role models to Level I nurses.
• Demonstrate professionalism and adhere to ANA standards of practice.
• Develop a plan of care according to patient population.
• Identify impending changes in patient condition and initiate corrective action.
• Mentor students, colleagues, and team members in patient-centered care.
• Conduct purposeful rounding from patient and family perspective.
• Apply findings from literature to practice.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in clinical care.
