Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma, ADN or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Current NC RN license and BCLS certification.
• Experience in physician office, urgent care or emergency department preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
• Demonstrates competent patient care within RN scope, including assessment, exams, procedures, medications and education.
• Processes orders, returns patient calls, and notifies of diagnostic results as directed by the physician.
• Documents care provided in the patient’s medical record.
• Facilitates patient flow and prioritizes work assignments.
• Maintains supplies and performs safety checks on medical equipment.
• Adheres to ANA Code of Ethics and uses evidence-based nursing practices.
• Complies with safety and regulatory guidelines (HIPAA, OSHA, infection control).
• Demonstrates good customer service and effective communication with patients, families, and staff.
