Job summary

Qualifications

• RN license in North Carolina (BCLS)
• Experience in physician office, urgent care, or emergency department preferred
• Ability to read and interpret clinical information and document care accurately

Responsibilities

• Maintains compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
• Provides direct patient care within the RN scope of practice, including assessments, exams, procedures, meds, and education.
• Processes orders, returns patient calls, and communicates diagnostic results.
• Documents care provided in the medical record.
• Facilitates patient flow and assists with prioritization of work.
• Maintains supplies and documents medical equipment safety checks.
• Adheres to ANA Code of Ethics and evidence-based nursing practices.
• Ensures safety and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, OSHA, infection prevention); participates in unit-based improvement.
• Delivers respectful patient interactions and supports teamwork and communication
