Job summary

You will work onsite in a full-time daytime schedule, collaborating with physicians, nurses, and Rex staff, and you will adhere to HIPAA, OSHA, and infection control guidelines while delivering compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Diploma, ADN or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina; BCLS.
• Previous experience in physician offices, urgent care, or emergency department preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and Rex staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintains compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
• Provides patient care within RN scope, including assessment, exams and procedures, administering medications, and patient education.
• Processes orders, returns patient calls, and notifies physician of results.
• Documents care in the patient’s medical record.
• Facilitates patient flow and assists with prioritization of work assignments.
• Maintains supplies and performs equipment safety checks.
• Adheres to the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics and supports evidence-based nursing.
• Maintains compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines (HIPAA, OSHA, infection prevention); participates in unit-based performance improvement.
• Demonstrates good customer service and teamwork with patients, families, and staff.
