Job summary

Sentara Cardiology Specialists in Williamsburg, VA is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse Practice Coordinator to lead ambulatory care operations under the Practice Manager, coordinating staff scheduling and patient care protocols.

The role requires an active RN license, a Bachelor’s in Nursing, 3 years of nursing experience with 1 year supervisory experience, and ambulatory care experience is preferred. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered, with no nights, holidays, or weekends.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (VA or Compact).
• Specialty certification in professional nursing practice preferred.
• Nursing experience 3 years required.
• Previous supervisory experience 1 year required.
• Ambulatory Care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Functions as a clinical leader for ambulatory care patient services.
• Responsible for scheduling and/or assigning clinic staff to meet patient care needs.
• Develops/implements clinical practice guidelines and protocols.
• Provides patient education and coordination of services to assure quality outcomes.
• Coordinates with Physicians/NP/PA/RN to provide comprehensive care.
