Sentara Health in Charlottesville, VA seeks a Registered Nurse for the Cardiology Specialty in an outpatient clinic setting. This full-time role offers a 7:45a–4:45p schedule with a $10,000 sign-on potential for qualified candidates, and a focus on triage, patient education, and care coordination.

Ideal candidates hold an ADN with 1–2 years ambulatory nursing experience, RN licensure in Virginia, NCLEX-RN, and BLS. BSN is preferred. Comprehensive benefits and competitive base pay are provided.

Qualifications

• ADN is required for this RN role.
• BSN is preferred but not required.
• Ambulatory, clinic or medical-surgical nursing experience is valued.

Responsabilités

• Assess patients and perform triage in person and by phone.
• Assist physicians with examinations and procedures.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as ordered.
• Provide patient education and self-management support.
• Coordinate referrals, follow-up, and continuity of care.
• Document care in the electronic health record.
