Sentara CarePlex Hospital in Hampton, VA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical/Surgical Cardiac Unit. Multiple shifts available; days and nights. Duties include patient assessment/admission, medication administration, and family communication on telemetry-driven care.

New grads welcome; sign-on bonus up to $20,000 and relocation assistance may apply. Virginia or compact license required with BLS within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire.
• RN-Associate’s Degree, or RN-Bachelor’s Degree, or RN-Diploma, or RN-Master’s Degree.

Responsibilities

• Assess and admit patients and perform rounds checks.
• Administer medications and monitor patient status.
• Communicate with families about care plans.
