Job summary

HCA Florida Mercy Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse for the Nursery to deliver postpartum and newborn care. You will assess patients, plan and implement care, and collaborate with the team to ensure excellence in patient outcomes.

The role requires an RN with ACLS/BLS and neonatal resuscitation readiness, plus at least 1 year of acute care experience. Strong teamwork in a fast-paced nursery setting is essential.

Qualifications

• The registered professional nurse delivers postpartum and newborn nursery care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Prescribes, delegates, coordinates, supervises and evaluates patient teaching and activities of ancillary staff while maintaining nursing standards.
• ACLS, BLS and Neonatal Resuscitation must be obtained within specified timeframes after employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Deliver postpartum and newborn nursery patient care.

• Coordinate teaching and supervise nursing staff to ensure quality outcomes.
