Job summary

HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital is seeking a Post-Partum Registered Nurse to join our caring team in Panama City, Florida. The RN will provide direct patient care to post-partum patients in a family-centered approach and will deliver multidisciplinary obstetrical care to both low and high-risk patients and normal newborns.

The role involves monitoring patient progress, preparing for discharge, and collaborating with a phenomenal team that treats colleagues like family.

Qualifications

• Florida RN license required; compact-license holders have 60 days to obtain Florida license after relocation.
• BLS-AHA Provider card required within 30 days of start.
• 1 year RN experience in an acute care environment preferred.
• BSN preferred.
• Neonate Resuscitation must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Associate Degree or RN Diploma; ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to post-partum patients in a family-centered approach.
• Deliver multidisciplinary obstetrical care to low/high-risk postpartum patients and normal newborns.

Job Summary And Qualifications

We are seeking a Post-Partum RN to join our healthcare team. Your primary function is to provide direct patient care to post-partum patients in a family centered approach. You will provide multidisciplinary obstetrical care to low and high risk postpartum patients and normal newborns. The RN monitors patient progress and prepares patient for discharge. You will work with a phenomenal team that cares like family and works together in a collaborative manner.

In this role you will:

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation
• Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team
• Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient and the situation
• Ensure effective care and use of time, supplies, and equipment.
• Educate patients regarding their medications, procedure and treatments, providing patients and their families with support throughout their stay.

Job Requirements

• Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation.
