Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• WA RN license required by hire.
• NRP certification (American Academy of Pediatrics) by hire.
• At least 1 year of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Collects assessment data from patients, family, and healthcare team to identify needs and problems.
• Develops and revises individualized care plans; documents changes in condition.
• Delivers teaching as part of nursing care and documents learning.
• Prepares for discharge/transfer and documents process.
• Delivers care based on pathophysiology and nursing principles, considering patient age.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, physicians and coworkers; documents in chart forms.
