North Central Surgical Center, a Baylor Scott & White affiliated hospital in Dallas, TX, seeks a Post-Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for the Night Shift (3-12s) in a busy Post-Surgical Unit.

The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care, administer medications, and document in the EHR, while educating patients and families and collaborating with the care team. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Current Texas RN License.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• ACLS certification (AHA) to be obtained within 60 days of hire.
• Two years RN Med-Surg/Telemetry or 1 year CC/ED/PACU; post-surgical in orthopedics/spine preferred.

Mansioni

• Provide direct patient care within RN scope of practice.
• Administer and document medications; implement physician orders.
• Document patient conditions and outcomes in the EHR.
• Educate patients and families about care and expectations.
• Adhere to safety and infection control policies and National Patient Safety Goals.
• Coordinate patient care with staff via email/computer systems.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
