North Central Surgical Center, a Baylor Scott & White affiliated hospital in Dallas, TX, seeks a Post-Surgical Telemetry RN for the full-time night shift. You will deliver comprehensive nursing care post-surgery, monitor telemetry patients, and collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.

The role requires an accredited RN education, Texas RN license, BLS, ACLS within 60 days, and 2 years of Med-Surg/Telemetry experience (or 1 year in PCCU/ED).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Current Texas RN License.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association).
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (must be obtained within 60 days of hire).
• Two years of RN experience in Med-Surg/Telemetry, or one year Critical Care/Emergency/PACU; post-surgical experience in orthopedics or spine preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care within the RN scope of practice according to hospital policies.
• Implement physician orders, administer and document medications safely.
• Document patient conditions and treatments accurately in the EHR.
• Maintain complete documentation of assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
• Educate patients and families about care expectations.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and patient safety guidelines; uphold professionalism.
