Job summary

ST. CHARLES HEALTH SYSTEM is seeking a Post-Licensure Specialist RN to manage nursing education programs, including Nurse Residency, Fellowships, and Continuing Education.

The role reports to the Clinical Education Leader and supports accreditation and quality initiatives across the system. The position emphasizes program development, collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, and administrative support for CME activities, with a focus on advancing clinical excellence and professional

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Nursing from an accredited college or university.
• Four years of progressively responsible acute care nursing experience; two years in clinical leadership or education.
• Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Oregon; AHA Provider BLS or obtain within 90 days of hire; ANPD specialty certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports assigned Transition to Practice programs to meet clinical education needs of the organization.
• Collaborates with Clinical Education staff and Nursing leadership on curriculum development.
• Coordinates entry of graduate nurse residents into programs, including assessment and orientation.
• Ensures compliance with Vizient/AACN Residency Program standards and external accreditation requirements.
• Provides administrative support for CME programs and maintains program records.
• Liaises with regional schools and libraries; coordinates educational events and simulations.
