Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Plasma Center Nurse (RN) to evaluate donor eligibility, monitor adverse events, review test results, and protect donor safety according to SOPs. You will report to the Center Manager and work under the Center Physician for medical guidance.

The role requires current RN licensure, CPR/AED, and at least two years in a clinical setting, with responsibilities including donor care, safety, and compliance within a fast-paced plasma center.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and nursing program graduate.
• Current RN license in the responsible state.
• CPR and AED certification.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility and track informed consent, medical history, and acceptance criteria.
• Manage donor adverse events and review laboratory test results.
• Notify donors of unsuitable test results and ensure donor safety as per SOPs.
• Reference Center Physician or Medical Affairs for medical or technical guidance.
• Support vaccination programs for employees and assist EHS initiatives.
