ARMStaffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for Pediatric Intensive Care (PICU) in Reno, NV. This 13-week contract position is a day shift (3x12) from 06:45 to 19:15, with focus on providing high-quality pediatric critical care and family-centered care.

The RN will handle assessments, planning, and evaluation of care in a fast-paced PICU, collaborating with health professionals and families to ensure optimal patient outcomes across the care episode.

Qualificações

• 2+ years of Pediatric Intensive Care (PICU) experience.
• Prior travel nursing experience required.
• Nevada RN license required before start.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide optimal patient care in the fast-paced Pediatric Intensive Care environment, dealing with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and their families. This position involves assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care, ensuring individualized patient outcomes throughout the entire episode of care.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Coordinate care among healthcare professionals and involve family in the care process.
• Demonstrate the cognitive and psychosocial needs specific to the pediatric patient population.
• Provide comprehensive nursing services with a focus on patient and family engagement.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of Pediatric Intensive Care (PEDS/PICU) experience required.
• Prior travel experience is also required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Nevada RN license required prior to start.
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS.
