Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an RN for the Perioperative unit in California for a 13-week travel assignment. The role involves pre/post care for surgical and endoscopic procedures, and interventional radiology and infusions.

Shifts are variable day shifts, 12 hours each, with start times ranging from 05:30 to 08:00 and end between 18:00 and 20:30, Monday through Friday. Applicants must have an active RN license and at least 3 years of nursing experience, plus ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience
• RN License required
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS certifications required
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Travel experience required

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and educate pre/post operatively.
• Administer medications and manage perioperative care.
• Perform procedures and monitor central lines as needed.
• Coordinate post-operative care and education with patients.
• Document using electronic charting systems.
• Communicate with interdisciplinary teams for patient care.
