Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina is hiring a Periop-Procedural Team Coordinator within the Perioperative Services department. This RN role supports service-line goals, enhances clinical quality, and leads groups to improve safety and staffing across Periop areas.

Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week, with no weekends or major holidays. External candidates may receive a sign-on bonus up to $20,000 with a 2-year commitment. Requires BSN and CNOR within 12 months, SC RN licensure, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing degree from an accredited school.
• CNOR certification required within 12 months of hire.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Support Perioperative Services goals and drive quality measures.
• Coordinate staffing to meet unit needs and ensure competency.
• Lead Working Specialty Groups and document actions/outcomes.
• Collaborate with SPD and Periop units to improve workflows.
