Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston is seeking an RN to provide individualized patient care in the Rutledge Tower Operating Room. You will work daytime hours with 4-10 hour shifts and no nights, weekends, or holidays for eye-team coverage.

A sign-on bonus up to $20,000 is available for external candidates with a 2-year commitment. Minimum qualifications include RN licensure (SC Board or compact), a BSN preferred, and at least one year of RN experience.

Qualifications

• RN licensure by SC Board of Nursing or compact state.
• BSN preferred; ADN/ Diploma RN must enroll in BSN within 2 years and complete within 4 years.
• Minimum of one year RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, goal-directed patient care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with the health care team to deliver safe, effective care.
• Work as part of the OR team with 4–10 hour daytime shifts; no nights or weekends.
