Ochsner Health System is seeking a nursing leader responsible for applying nursing processes within the framework of established standards. This role focuses on leading the nursing team to deliver quality patient care while respecting diversity.
The candidate must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school, possess an RN license, and have effective communication and organizational skills. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in nursing and specialty certifications.
This nursing leadership position requires the application of the nursing process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses, and Scope & Standards of Practice. The role involves leading and supporting the nursing team to achieve quality patient outcomes while respecting cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity.
Exerts 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Activities include walking, standing, moving objects, and may involve exposure to blood, body fluids, and communicable diseases.
