Job summary

Saint Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury, CT is seeking a Performance Improvement Specialist. This full-time day shift role requires an RN license and on-site work to lead safety, quality, and performance improvement initiatives across the organization.

Ideal candidates will hold a CT RN license, prefer a Master’s in Nursing or related field, and have 5+ years hospital experience. Responsibilities include audits, adverse event reporting, data analysis, training safety curricula, and root-cause

  • Master’s Degree in Nursing, Healthcare, or related field preferred
  • At least five (5) years hospital experience preferred
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements, patient quality of care and safety initiatives; RCA or Lean Management skills preferred
  • Leadership experience with regulatory requirements for reporting and subsequent response criteria
