Job summary

Hospice of the Valley (AZ) seeks an RN Performance Improvement Coordinator to ensure regulatory and accrediting standards are met across service lines. You will review clinical documentation, perform data analysis, and drive performance improvement initiatives.

The role supports legal requests, collaborates with stakeholders, and champions education and resources. Arizona RN licensure and solid nursing experience are required, with a preference for related master’s training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years' experience in quality and compliance or other legal nursing roles preferred.
• Minimum of 4+ years of nursing experience.
• Arizona RN license required.

Responsibilities

• Conducts quality assessments.
• Completes medical record reviews and communicates findings clearly.
• Analyzes information and shares results with stakeholders.
• Supports Legal Counsel in processing medical record requests from regulatory agencies and law firms.
• Performs performance improvement projects to promote efficiency and regulatory compliance.
• Maintains knowledge of federal and state regulations and accreditation standards.
