Job summary

UNM HOSPITALS in Albuquerque, NM seeks a Registered Nurse Per Diem III to provide direct patient care within the I/P Hemodialysis department, following the nursing process and adhering to policies. This role requires a minimum of ten shifts per schedule and weekend coverage as specified.

The RN will collaborate with the healthcare team, document care plans, administer medications (including IV), and support patient safety and discharge planning. PRN, days shift.

Qualifications

• Essential nursing qualification with state licensure.
• Experience in direct patient care and discharge planning.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe direct care to assigned patients according to the care plan.
• Document individualized care plans and patient education.
• Administer medications, including IV, following the Seven Rights.
• Collaborate with healthcare team and ensure patient safety.
• Support orientation and contribute to preceptor activities.
