Providence Jobs is seeking a per diem RN Nurse Clinician to deliver holistic care to terminally ill patients and families in a hospice setting. You will assess needs, plan and implement care, and revise the Plan of Care as situations change.

The role requires WA RN license at hire and BLS certification within 30 days; prior hospice or homecare experience is preferred. This is an on-site, per diem position with variable shifts.

This is a per diem/on call position.

The RN Nurse Clinician provides holistic care to terminally ill pediatric or adult patients and their families by assessing the needs of the patient, and then planning, coordinating, implementing, and as needed, revising the Plan of Care. The RN Nurse Clinician works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary hospice group (IDG)with the goals of anticipating changes in the patient's condition, avoiding crises, promoting patient and family choice, ensuring continuity of care, and enhancing the quality of life of dying patients. Shift, schedule and caseload of shifts and caseload may vary according to position assignment.

Required Qualifications

• Associate's Degree Nursing Or
• Bachelor's Degree Nursing Or equivalent education/experience
• Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License
• Within 30 days of hire: Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year Nursing experience; some pediatric nursing experience required for a position in the Pediatric Programs.
• Prior Hospice, Homecare, Long Term Care, medical/surgical, and/or oncology experience.
