Johns Hopkins Medicine's Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, DC is hiring a Pediatric Radiation Oncology Therapy RN to join the proton and photon therapy program. This per-diem role offers 10-hour days and requires a DC RN license, graduation from an accredited RN program, and oncology nursing knowledge.

Experience in Radiation Oncology (6 months minimum; 1+ year preferred) and CPR certification are expected; ONS/ONCC certification preferred.

Position Details

• Pediatric Radiation Oncology Therapy RN
• Per-Diem, Hours vary per week, must work a minimum of 3 shifts over 6 weeks
• 10-hour Dayshifts

Minimum Education and Experience:

• Registered Nurse licensed in the District of Columbia.
• Graduate from an accredited program for Registered Nurses.
• Knowledge of professional nursing care principles, practices, and procedures required to assess oncology patients.
• Must possess knowledge of chemotherapy drugs and their interaction with radiation treatment.
• At least 6 months RN experience in Radiation Oncology, 1+ year experience preferred
• ONS/ONCC Radiation Therapy Certification preferred.
• AHA CPR Certification required.

Salary Range: Minimum 57.90/hour - Maximum 57.90/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
