Job summary

Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, DC, is hiring a Radiologic Technologist to prepare and apply ionizing radiation per the Radiation Oncologist's prescription, under supervision of the Director and Chief Therapist. You will operate all Radiation Oncology equipment, including CT simulators, linear accelerators, QA dosimeters, diode systems, and associated computer systems.

Minimum qualifications include ARRT registration and CPR certification.

  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Current CPR Certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares and applies ionizing radiation to the patient in accordance with the prescription and instruction of the Radiation Oncologist and under the general supervision of the Director and Chief Therapist.

Position Summary

Prepares and applies ionizing radiation to the patient in accordance with the prescription and instruction of the Radiation Oncologist and under the general supervision of the Director and Chief Therapist. Minimum Qualifications
  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Current CPR Certification required.

Salary Range: Minimum 49.88/hour - Maximum 82.27/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
