Description:This position involves providing care in a Pediatric Emergency Room setting.Candidates should have experience with a patient ratio of 4:1.Familiarity with Epic charting system is required.Additional preferred certifications include CEN, CPEN, ENPC, and TNCC.Staffing may require float to various other departments or facilities.Candidates will care for patients in different age groups including neonates and adolescents.Daily census in the unit is approximately 120 visits.Must be proficient in monitoring various pediatric conditions and performing emergency procedures.Ability to manage airway obstruction, seizures, and traumatic injuries is essential.Candidates should have experience with administering medications, including narcotics and IV medications.Experience with telemetry and interpretation of cardiac rhythms is advantageous.Excellent communication and teamwork skills are vital for success in this role.
