Description:Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience.Applicants must possess at least 1 year of experience as a traveler.Experience in CICU/CVPICU is essential.Critical care nurses are needed for this position.Candidates may float to the cardiac med-surg floor to assist as needed.Daily patient census will include neonates, adolescents, infants, and pediatrics.Common patient diagnoses include congenital heart defects, cardiomyopathy, arrhythmias, and myocarditis/endocarditis.Special procedures in the unit include CRRT, ECMO, and VADs.Advanced monitoring lines and equipment will be utilized.The facility is smoke-free and has a supportive interdisciplinary team.All certifications must be from recognized organizations.Pass/fail testing will be conducted during the first week.Completion of medication and dosage testing is required.A minimum passing rate of 100% is necessary.Three attempts will be provided for testing.Candidates should expect to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.
