Job summary

Description:Travel opportunity for an experienced RN in the CVICU.The unit has a capacity of 24 beds.Patient ratios follow hospital-specific guidelines.Primary RN model with unit support staff.Type of equipment includes IV pumps and rapid transfusion systems.Documentation is managed through specified EMR systems.Scheduling requires 36 hours per week, with every other weekend or three weekend shifts per month.Floating to critical care units may be necessary.The unit performs procedures including chest tube placement, central line placement, and bronchoscopy.This unit operates as an ECMO center with a focus on high-risk patients.Advanced skills in cardiothoracic and vascular surgery are preferred but not required.Dress code includes royal blue scrubs.Work environment includes advanced technology and a collaborative team.Candidates are encouraged to consider joining a unit recognized for its quality care and innovative practices.
