Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Pediatric Stepdown unit on the night shift in New Haven, CT for a 13-week contract. Description:We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Pediatric Stepdown unit.The position requires working night shifts on a 3x12 schedule.The average patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:3.Candidates with previous travel experience are strongly preferred.On-call requirements are not applicable for this position.Clinicians may float within their scope to meet facility needs.Local candidates will not be accepted.A pending license is accepted as long as it is active prior to the start date.Request for time off greater than 7 days requires approval.This unit specializes in caring for pediatric patients, including those with respiratory illnesses.Interdisciplinary support is available from various services.Experience with trauma and LTAC is preferred, but not required.The candidate should be proficient in pediatric medication administration and monitoring.Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for ensuring optimal patient care.We look forward to welcoming a new team member who shares our commitment to pediatric nursing excellence.
