Job summary

Cynet Health seeks a Registered Nurse specialized in Pediatric Emergency Care for a 13-week assignment in a fast-paced urban pediatric ED. Night shifts are 12 hours each, with a 1:5 patient ratio and need for every-other-weekend coverage.

Requirements include RN license, minimum 2 years ER experience, ventilated-patient expertise, and current BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications. Epic EMR experience and de-escalation training are preferred. Travel and float to sister locations may be required.

Description:Will offer 3x12s as well if preferred.Minimum of 2 years of emergency room experience is necessary.Experience in a high-volume pediatric emergency department setting is required.Candidates must have experience managing ventilated patients.Every other weekend coverage is necessary, with four weekend shifts over the contract.Patient ratio is 1:5.The department has an average of 210 visits per day.All candidates must have current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS.De-escalation certification is also required.Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred.The role supports patient care technicians and medics.Travelers with prior experience in a specific facility will need HR approval for rehire status.Candidates must be able to float to a sister location as needed.Blocked scheduling will not be accommodated.All candidates should have experience managing a variety of pediatric emergencies.Important procedures include airway management, respiratory support, and trauma care.Effective communication skills are essential to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.Candidates must demonstrate the ability to care for patients in acute distress.
