Job summary

Fairview Health Services is seeking compassionate RNs to join the Pediatric Unit at Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville, Minnesota. The 16-bed unit cares for pediatric patients and overflow adult patients, with a culture of teamwork and strong support for staff growth.

The RN is responsible for assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of nursing care in accordance with policy and professional guidelines. Schedule is casual with responsibilities across a busy pediatric service line.

Qualifications

• MN RN license is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• One year of current RN pediatric experience required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient needs and plan nursing care.
• Coordinates care with patient, family and health care team.
• Develops individualized care plans based on age and clinical condition.
• Evaluates patient care and response to interventions.
• Communicates effectively to promote partnership-based care.
• Applies evidence-based practice to improve patient outcomes.
