MultiCare Rockwood Clinic in Spokane, WA is seeking a Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) to autonomously utilize the nursing process across the lifespan, coordinating care with physicians, APPs and the care team. • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State or MLS/MLE endorsement.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Two (2) years of experience as an RN—clinic setting preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.

Position Summary

The Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) functions independently when utilizing the nursing process and is responsible for assessing, planning, coordinating, evaluating and delegating nursing functions across the lifespan. The RN collaborates with patients, patient families/significant others, Physicians/Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), patient care staff, leadership and community partners. Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process as a systematic problem-solving approach to nursing care, facilitating an optimal level of functioning and health for the patient.
• Independently triages patients in person, via telephone and secure messages, utilizing protocols, guidelines, and standards.
• Uses critical thinking skills in making decisions regarding patient care, which includes knowledge and integration of relevant standards, resources, and data.
• Uses assessment and analysis skills in delivering medical regimens as directed by physicians and APPs.
• Delegates selected patient care functions to others in accordance with their education, credentials, and demonstrated competence.
• Collaborates with the clinic team to facilitate overall improvement in quality of care, patient experience and stewardship.
• Fosters a learning environment for patients, families, and all members of the health care team.
• Advocates for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS)
• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred
• Current BLS Certification required
• Advanced Life Support certification may be required after hire, depending on assigned clinic site
• Two (2) years of experience as a RN - in a clinic setting preferred
• Candidates with less than two (2) years' experience may be considered for Transition to Practice Program

Pay and Benefit Expectations
