Job summary

Mercy in Missouri is seeking experienced registered nurses to provide patient-centered care using the nursing process, ensuring patient rights and confidentiality while coordinating with other departments. The role involves floating to Pediatric ICU, Pediatrics and NICU, with a dayshift from 7am to 7pm.

Full-time position includes rotating weekends and holidays. Candidates must have an accredited nursing degree, RN license in Missouri or compact, and BLS certification, with physical ability to

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
Must obtain and maintain a current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or complete within 30 days of hire.
Position requires lifting 50 pounds on a regular basis; prolonged standing and walking; ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat.

Responsibilities

Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
Coordinates patient care with other departments.
Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.

Education
