Job summary

Mercy seeks experienced registered nurses to provide patient care using the nursing process across Pediatric ICU, Pediatrics and NICU units. You will coordinate with other departments while upholding patient rights and confidentiality.

Will work days from 7am to 7pm, full-time, with weekend and holiday rotations. New graduates are not eligible. Mercy offers strong benefits and growth opportunities in a mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• Maintain current RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or complete within 30 days of hire.
• Physical requirements: ability to push/pull/lift 50 pounds, prolonged standing/walking, and ability to bend/kneel/twist/squat.

Responsibilities

• Uses nursing process to provide patient care and maintain patient rights and confidentiality.
• Float to Pediatric ICU, Pediatrics and NICU as needed.
• Rotate weekends/holidays with dayshift 7a-7p.
